Meet Our Founder: Janneh K. Wright
In 2002, Janneh K. Wright founded JK Wright LLC, a business born from his drive to make an impact in the world of business management. With a freshly earned degree, Janneh took his first steps toward helping small businesses succeed by applying his corporate finance knowledge to solve their challenges.
Before graduating, Janneh had planned to pursue career opportunities at the World Trade Center, but the events of September 11th shifted his path. Instead, he returned to Brooklyn, where he began offering basic bookkeeping services to small local businesses. It didn’t take long for Janneh to recognize the significant challenges these businesses faced, and he knew he could make a real difference.
Janneh’s sharp grasp of corporate finance propelled him to the top levels of business management, but he didn’t forget his roots. He continued working closely with local business owners, learning about their pain points and offering practical solutions. His desire to serve others grew as he took on significant roles in nonprofit organizations, further deepening his commitment to helping businesses succeed.
As Janneh’s client base grew, he found himself taking on more than just bookkeeping tasks. Clients began reaching out to him with a wide variety of business challenges, from employee issues to website setup—well beyond his original scope of work. These recurring requests sparked the idea of offering a broader range of services under one roof, providing clients with a comprehensive solution for all their business needs.
A New Chapter: The Birth of PRIMUS Business Management
To better serve his growing list of clients, Janneh expanded his team by bringing in professionals with expertise in human resources, marketing, and other key areas of business management. This led to the rebranding of JK Wright LLC to PRIMUS Business Management. The name "PRIMUS," meaning "first" in Latin, reflects Janneh's vision of making his business the first place clients would turn to for any business need.
